Women and Weight

Being a woman with weight issues myself, I've always found it difficult to climb into the melting pot that was considered beauty in North America. Everywhere I looked, there were women who no longer resembled women. They were doll-like figurines set to resemble an ideal that was nearly impossible to attain.


Suffice to say, I was motivated to change my life around. To my surprise, I found that women across the world were thinking the same as I did. They too wanted to change their life and image. Shortly after my renewed vigor I literally scoured the internet and books to find what I was looking for: a quick get slim quick method.


After weeks and months of bouncing around diets. I was fatter, unhealthier, and most importantly unhappy with myself. I became wary of all the information I found online. In the span of six months, I became a skeptical and bitter woman. I no longer believed that people wanted to help one another. The world in my eyes, was a scary money-grubbing place.
